#ImStaying

Today, I had an amazing #I’m staying moment.

Today, I had an amazing #I’m staying moment. Yesterday, we stopped at The Windmills while checking out the Nottingham Road area. I carelessly left my handbag in the restaurant. Not really having any need for anything in my handbag throughout the day, I only realized that I had left it behind once I got back to Durban at about 5pm. I was convinced it was gone forever.

I tried contacting The Windmills yesterday and unfortunately it was after closing time. I woke up this morning and tried again. I was hopeful, I’m always hopeful that there are good people in the world. That the good we put out there, comes back to us someway or somehow. And it was my lucky day, a kind guy named Lucky, in the picture with me, who works at The Windmills found my bag and was just waiting for the owner to contact them to pick it up.

Which I did today. I can’t tell you guys what an amazing feeling it is. The thought of cancelling cards and so on, was so daunting. But Lucky saved me all the trouble. Thank you, I had my #ImStaying moment. And if you don’t get to have yours, then be the person who gives that moment to someone else. Maybe no one will post about it, maybe they will. But when we put good out there into the world, it finds its way back to you.
