Fame and fortune definitely favours the brave. This former Mr SA is a passionate Attorney At Law. Armand strives to stay humble but he believes that there are no person on earth that leads a completely humble life. Might it be that fighting for what you want to achieve is sometimes in conflict with that sentiment?

Looking back onto his early modelling career he regrets not having a more “business-like approach to modelling”.

The best advice I can give someone that is interested in the modelling industry, is that they should capitalise on each opportunity. Keep those business cards ready and form long lasting business relationships with the people you meet. Shake hands and sign those deals as quickly as possible. Reinvent yourself constantly to stay relevant. Especially if modelling becomes your main focus.

The modelling industry gives you the opportunity to meet a lot of people and allows you to travel to interesting places. Make the most of it. The industry helps you see places and meet people you never thought you would.

Although I was teased a bit by some of my law graduate buds, I pursued the Mr SA Crown with everything in me. I knew it would open unexpected doors. I cherish all journeys I go on, but this one was special. That year was quite difficult because I was still studying and had many late nights and early mornings but it was worth it.

I joined a wonderful law firm in Johannesburg so I don’t have time for modelling any more. I now fully enjoy pursuing my passion for law. This is my new journey and somehow many of my contacts in the modelling industry became my clients. In the same way I used my Mr SA title to help and inspire people, I use my Law degree.

Just an affirmation that all one’s life experiences complements one another.

Armand’s message to the world; “Your life has a purpose. Your story is important.

Your dreams matterYour voice counts. You were born to make an impact.”
