So many of us have negative experiences in South Africa. The fear of tomorrow seems like it is consuming the minds and hearts of South Africans. “Where is the country once known as a prosperous nation? Do you remember when the rand used to be equal to the dollar?”

The media is flooded with bad news about South Africa, Farm murders are increasing, and corruption is a daily reality. Billions of rands are gone, and no one seems the be held accountable.

But how do we continue in this country without becoming negative or feeling like you want to sell everything and run away? The answer is simple, we must start speaking LIFE over our country. A group of people took a stand and decided to turn minds and hearts into a positive direction. They focus on decelerations that will flood social media with positive words, bringing hope into the minds of South Africans. The power of words has been proven repeatedly and therefore, in this case, it is only natural that the same applies. Declaring positive words over our country every day will bring hope. Hope that perseveres will bring faith, and FAITH is the opposite of fear. The very same fear that is paralyzing South Africans.

So, let us all proclaim the following in faith with our South African sister, Neria Hlanga Yose:

“I see a South Africa whose people have triumphant over all challenges, whose children are encouraged to be whoever they want to be, whose women feel safe to walk anywhere at any time, whose children do not have to wonder if they will have a meal at the end of the day and whose people have won the war over crime.
