Business Questionnaire

  • How did your business start?

My business started naturally because of a passion for architecture. I was doing my degree at ESAD University of Lisbon, and my master’s in architecture at the Lusiada University of Lisbon. Thereafter I opened a small Design and Architecture Office to contribute to the cost of studying. From then on, I never stopped. I had the opportunity to be involved in projects in Portugal, Germany, France and more recently in Morocco, Angola, Mozambique and in South Africa.

  • Why did you choose architecture?

As a little boy, I observed my father (he was a master mason in construction) I always wanted to be just like him. As a child, I always walked about the family home with a hammer in my hand and was constantly digging and hammering which drove my parents completely crazy! Later in school, I developed design techniques and my interest in design led me to architecture.

  • What make your business different from your competitors?

My business focuses on problem solving, concern for environmental, innovation and discovery!  My focus grew out of my academic training with a first degree in Industrial Design followed by a master’s degree in Architecture. The possibility of comprehensive solutions from these two scientific areas, helped me add technical and conceptual value to my projects.
