Sy het gedurig as kind vir AL haar teddies en poppe, boeties, sussies en selfs die bediende skool gegee.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na skool het sy op POTE, grondslagfase onderwys gaan studeer. Sy het in 1985 haar Ho\u00ebr Onderwys Diploma (HOD) gekry en het in 1986 begin werk as grondslagfase Juffrou.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sy is n Christen en leef haar geloof in haar werk uit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In haar loopbaan as onderwyseres het sy as jong juffroutjie begin in Secunda en van daar verhuis na Hartbeespoort waar sy vandag nog woon. Sy het eers by Snippie Kleuterskool begin werk en daarna by Laerskool Broederstroom, tot sy in die jaar 2000 besluit het om haar eie kleuterskool te begin.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Juffrou Petro is al vir 36 jaar n toegewyde grondslagfase onderwyseres, n mamma vir 34 jaar en ouma vir die laaste 6 jaar. Sy is n mens met liefde vir die kind en sy ontwikkeling!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sy het n absolute passie vir haar werk! Sy geniet elke oomblik en vertel gedurig van hoe haar kindertjies haar weer vandag laat lag het!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Juffrou Petro het jare se ondervinding. Sy het n sisteem en n opvoedings-roetine wat WERK! Sy inspireer kindertjies so jonk soos 2 jaar om die beste weergawe van hulself te wees en om elke dag met n glimlag en vol entoesiasme aan te pak!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By Juffrou Petro se skool kan jy verseker weet dat jou kind die fisiese, emosionele, kognitiewe en sosiale stimulatie kry wat hy\/sy daagliks nodig het, sodat jy as ouer, wanneer jy na werk by die huis kom, met n geruste hart kan weet die \u201cwerk\u201d vir die dag is gedoen- Jy kan jou kind net geniet!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In kort &#8211; Juffrou Petro is iemand wie jy selde alleen op n foto gaan sien! En met kleuters, is dit deur te speel!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die grootste geskenk wat jy as ouer vir jou kind kan gee, is die geskenk van n goeie opvoeding en ontwikkeling. As jou kind in grondslagfase die regte boustene ontvang, kan jy as ouer gerus wees en weet sy fondasie vir sy toekomstige onderrig is neergele!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Onthou net mamma en pappa, in elke fase van n kind se lewe, ontwikkel n ander ouderdomsgepaste bousteen. Elke steen volg op mekaar om n sterk fondasie vir die toekoms te le. Indien n kind een bousteen nie ontwikkel het nie, is sy fondasie swak en sit hulle gewoonlik in die toekoms met akademiese probleme.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit beteken onderandere, net omdat jou kind op 3.5j al letters of nommers kan skryf, beteken nie hy is \u201cvoor\u201d nie. Inteendeel, dit kan eerder vir hom n agterstand daar stel as jy nie versigtig is nie! Op daardie ouderdom moet n kind EERSTE sy groter handspiertjies ontwikkel deur byvoorbeeld bal hop en vang of boomklim of swaai, of n bal skop of slaan met n raket of stok. As daardie spiere ontwikkel is sal hy baie makliker n pen kan reg vashou en skryf. As dit nie ontwikkel is nie, sal hy probleme ervaar met skryf want die behoorlike ondersteuning wat die groot spiere aan die klein spiere moet bied, ontbreek! Hy kan dus nie sy pen behoorlik vashou nie of al kan hy, kan hy nie die pen beheer vir die skryfaksie nie.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As jy jou kleuter wil gereed kry vir die groot skool se lees, skryf en somme- <strong>laat hom speel!<\/strong> Laat hom bal gooi, vang, skop! Laat hom boom klim, gly, wip. Laat hom fiets ry en balanseer. Laat hom papiere skeur en plak&#8230;. EN knip (onder toesig natuurlik) Laat hom prentjies teken \/ verf met verskillende mediums. Laat hom huppel, gallop, skerspring en rol. As jy jou kleuter wil gereed kry vir lees in Gr 1, lees VIR hom, lees en leer BAIE gediggies en sing en leer BAIE liedjies. Dit ontwikkel sy taal en help met woordherkenning en wanneer hy moet begin lees, kom dit natuurlik en sommer baie makliker!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As hy al hierdie goed kan doen, sal hy in Gr1 nie n probleem h\u00ea met lees en skryf nie! Dit is nie nodig om n kleuter te laat skryf, om hom gereed te kry vir skryf nie. <strong>Kleuters leer ANDERS!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, leer jou kind al die vaardighede aan wat hy vir die res van sy skool loopbaan gaan nodig h\u00e9, sonder om dit eers te weet! Sonder om gedruk te voel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soos Dr Melodie de Jager tereg ges\u00ea het, n kind is Soos n avokado, net omdat jy hom druk, beteken nie hy word ryp nie!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jou werk as ouer by die huis is net so groot. Die kind moet dissipline by die huis leer en sy opvoeding by die huis ontvang. Maar wanneer jou kind in die REGTE skool is, word jou taak as ouer by die huis soveel makliker.
