Let me reintroduce myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Lerato Nellvecia Madike, I am 29yrs old and I am a Doctor. I went to Namakgale Primary school and completed my high school studies at Sebalamakgolo High school with three distinctions in Life sciences, Afrikaans, and Sepedi in 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I graduated for my National Diploma in Biotechnology in 2012 then later proceeded with my studies to complete a Bachelor of Technology and graduated Cum laude in 2016 from the Vaal University of Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I graduated Cum laude for my master\u2019s degree in 2018 and obtained the Vice Chancellor Award for top achiever in the Faculty of Applied and Computer Sciences. I started my doctoral studies in 2018 and later proceeded to Colorado State University in the United States of America to complete my research in the field of Bioengineering and Material Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 I completed my PhD in a period of 20 months at the age of 28. I have five publications in DHET accredited journal, and I have presented my research at local and international conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been a long and challenging journey and never in a million years did I believe that someone with my background could ever become a Dr. There is nothing special about me, I failed more times than I had victories but, I had a vision of who I wanted to become and that kept me going. \u201cDo your best to know better and when you know better, do better\u201d _ Maya Angelou. I am constantly in the process of becoming the best version of myself and that is my secret to success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
